My mom and I were victims of my brother’s stupid politics and COVID-hoax mentality. He caught the coronavirus from a like-minded coworker. He gave it to my mom when she visited from Michigan. I told her to stay away because I didn’t trust my brother and his politics with the coronavirus.
She came to visit me days later so sick she could barely walk. I couldn’t tell her she wasn’t welcome. I nursed her for four days until she was well enough to drive home. She said she didn’t remember the second half of her drive she was so sick.
I broke all ties to my brother for his ignorance. He still denies giving the virus to my mom and I.
My mom spent four nights in the hospital stabilizing her body with steroids and IVs. She is doing better but still sick. I’m finally feeling better. I still can’t believe my brainwashed brother could be so ignorant.
